Another One Bites the Dust...

Last week was about as crazy as it could get. On Wednesday I attended a seminar on starting business with my dad. It was the longest I'd left Emmett so far. The seminar was great, and it felt good to be out learning something new. It also gave me a chance to miss Emmett, and it was so fun seeing him get excited when I came home.

The rest of the week was filled with Sterling's wedding (hence the title of the post). He is now married to Emily, leaving only 4 of "The Grandkids" single. The wedding was fun. Here is a picture of my Aunt and all of her now married children. I might add that they all got married within the last year.

The wedding colors were blue and yellow, and we have a tradition in our family to wear one of the colors, so Emmett got his very first tie...in a nice yellow, of course:

He's growing up so fast! He turned 6 months old yesterday. And here's our little family now:

Meanwhile in Mexico...

Alan finally proposed to my sister! So we are expecting another wedding in the near future, and those four remaining Grandkids will become three. We're so excited for these two, since we know this has been a long time coming! Plus it means a trip to Atlanta for us, and I could really use a vacation! Congratulations Kathrine and Alan!

Chocolate Lovers Beware...

And allow me to introduce you to the "Slutty Brownie." Hey, I didn't name it, but if you're trying to diet, the name totally fits.

They are super tasty, and super easy to make (especially if you cheat like me and use pre-packaged mixes).

1. Preheat your oven to 350.
2. Press a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
3. Cover with a layer of Oreo cookies.
4. Pour brownie batter over the top.
5. Bake for 30 minutes.

Serve warm...and with a LARGE glass of milk. (You'll need it.)
