It's a bird, it's a plane...

Well, it is a plane, actually. An F-16, to be exact:

My husband loves jets, so we couldn't pass up an opportunity this weekend to go to "Warriors Over the Wasatch" on the Air Force base. They had static displays and, of course, an air show featuring all types of aircraft. The highlight of the show was the Thunderbirds:

Of course, the jets can be insanely loud (especially when they're flying right over your head), so we had to get Emmett some ear protection. He wasn't quite sure how to feel about the ear muffs.

He did enjoy watching the jets, however. It was such a fun family outing!
